Garden City Beach House Bath Designs

Today I am going to share the design work for all 8 bathrooms going into the Garden City Beach house project I wrote about last week! Yes you read that right... 8! Because this house will likely be used as a vacation rental, each of the 6 bedrooms has it's own bath plus there are 2 half baths, one on each floor.

There are 2 master bedrooms with adjacent baths. Both will have walk in tile showers with frameless glass doors and one of the bathrooms includes a gorgeous soaking tub. I chose marble like porcelain tile that comes in various sizes for each of the bathrooms. You can see the different sizes and shapes labeled below. Dark gray cabinets will be in both baths but it's the Brizo luxe gold plumbing fixtures that steal the show! One extra design feature is the addition of coordinating decorative wall sconces to dress up each commode closet. Lastly, shiplap will be strategically placed on key walls in both bathrooms to add texture and character.

Next up is the guest bathrooms of which there are 4. I wanted to use fun modern tiles, clean lines and matte black plumbing fixtures. Most of these baths have tubs with tiled walls above except for bath 2. Here is what I came up with for each of these bathrooms...

And last but not least... the powder baths! One of the powder baths is on the main level and the other is on the top floor just off the kitchen. I wanted each bath to carry the style or vibe of the rooms around it, so here is where I ended up. Below is a pic of the half bath on the main floor close to all the guest bathrooms shown above. There will be shiplap on the lower half of the walls with a fun wallpaper above.

And just off the kitchen is this cute powder room that will look great with the kitchen design...

This project is being sheet rocked and I believe trimmed out next week, so hopefully it will finish up by May. That is the goal for the summer rental season at the beach :) Can't wait to get photos and share them with you.
