Garden City Beach House Kitchen Reveal

This large project has kept my busy busy! Construction started in December and just wrapped up a few weeks ago. With an open concept kitchen, 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms there was much work to be done. You may remember my blogpost sharing the kitchen design concept but I'll link it here if you want to check it out.

This beach house has a reverse floorplan with the kitchen, great room and master bedroom located on the top floor for one simple reason... the view! Ya'll the views of Murrells Inlet are stunning and with panoramic windows everywhere, it never gets old. The kitchen and great room are one large, light and airy space with french doors opening up to a porch.

Last but not least is the family room or great room. The coffered ceiling and built ins really make the space complete with shiplap and open shelving. This is where I love to add wall sconces and these gold lights did the trick! Most of the furniture was purchased by the clients who worked with a local furniture store. They asked me to pull it all together with lamps, accessories, artwork and rugs some of which are still on order.der.er.r..nd panels look on an island to create a custom look and feel.

Next up is a shot of the sink wall which includes a pearlized mosaic backsplash that we stopped just below the cabinet crown. I really like how it turned out! The faucet is by Brizo and the sink is an undermount 33" single bowl. The countertops are Dove Grey Quartz and the cabinet hardware is the Dominique collection from Build.com.

Here's a close up shot of some of the fun accessories used. You can say modern coastal without using fish, crabs and nets!

Look for next week's post where I'll share more of this fun project!
