I'm so excited to share the gorgeous laundry room of this brand new home finished up only a few short weeks ago. If you missed last week's post revealing the kitchen, you can check that out here. Today I'm going to share the laundry room which is also an entry point to the home from the exterior porch.
The laundry room features custom cabinetry painted a soft blue shade of Sherwin Williams Sea Salt. The crown molding in the room is painted to match the cabinets and looks amazing! There is a jewel box of a pantry that sits just beyond the laundry room. A glass pocket door separates the two spaces and as soon as this space is photographed I'll share it with you!
One of my favorite features is the custom washer and dryer shelf made of a natural wood finish with corbels. It covers that awkward gap behind those appliances as well as lends a hand to quick grab supplies.
Another unique feature is the custom designed floor to ceiling storage cabinet to house a Miele vaccuum cleaner and general cleaning supplies. The homeowner requested that the interior accommodate each of these things so measurements were taken and shelves were designed accordingly.
The light fixtures in this laundry room are spot on! Take a look at the two overhead fixtures that make a bold statement by Hinkley. The silver and gold finish blend with the cabinet hardware by Emtek.
The homeowner chose the fun wavelike tile which runs along the entire wall and all the way up to the crown molding. A glass wall sconce adds a nice touch and sits just above the picture window. The countertops are an MCI Quartz product and coordinate with what's in the kitchen.
Hope you enjoyed touring this dreamy laundry room! I'll be sharing more pics after the professional photographer takes photos in late July. Next week look for a blogpost on the beautiful master bath!
